Who we are

AppTraction is a product of Made by Windmill, LLC, a Texas limited liability company at 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731, United States (“we” or “us”). When you use or buy AppTraction, your agreement is with Made by Windmill, LLC.

AppTraction is a Mac app that brings your App Store Connect analytics, reviews, and listing to your Mac and helps you understand them.

Agreeing to these terms

By downloading, installing, or using AppTraction, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. If you use AppTraction for a company, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for it.

Free trial

You can use every feature free for 14 days. No card is needed. When the trial ends, you’ll need a plan to keep using AppTraction.

Plans and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, sales tax and VAT, invoices, and customer service for orders.

Your purchase is also covered by Paddle’s buyer terms.

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT will be added where required, so the amount you pay may vary by country.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from Settings › License › Manage Subscription… in AppTraction, from the link in your Paddle receipt, or by emailing us. You’ll keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

Refunds

See our refund policy.

Your license

While you have an active trial or plan, we give you a personal, non-transferable right to use AppTraction on your own Macs, for your own apps or your company’s apps.

Each license key works on up to 5 Macs. If you need more, email us at help@apptraction.dev.

You may not sell, rent, or share your license, or get around the trial or license checks.

Your App Store Connect account and data

AppTraction uses App Store Connect API keys that you create and provide. You’re responsible for those keys, who can use them, and making sure you’re allowed to access the apps and data they cover. Your use of App Store Connect is also covered by Apple’s terms.

AppTraction only changes anything in App Store Connect when you ask it to, such as applying a listing fix or posting a reply to a review. You’re responsible for those changes. Review replies will be public once Apple approves them.

Your data stays yours. How we handle it is explained in our privacy policy.

AI features

AppTraction’s AI features use an AI provider you set up yourself, such as Claude Code, Codex, or OpenRouter. Your use of that provider is covered by its own terms, and any costs are between you and them.

Don’t use AppTraction’s AI features to create or post:

We may suspend access for anyone who uses AppTraction this way. If you believe AppTraction has been used to infringe your rights, email us and we’ll look into it.

Things you can’t do

Ownership

We own AppTraction, this website, and everything in them, including the code, design, and the AppTraction name and logo. These terms don’t give you any of those rights except the license above. App Store and App Store Connect are trademarks of Apple Inc. AppTraction isn’t made or endorsed by Apple.

Availability

We work hard to keep AppTraction running well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of bugs. AppTraction depends on data and services from Apple and from your AI provider, which can change, be delayed, or stop working without notice.

Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, don’t pay, or put our services or other people at risk through fraud or security problems. You can stop using AppTraction at any time.

No warranties

AppTraction is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we don’t make any promises about it beyond those in these terms. Some places don’t allow this, so it may not apply to you.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or unexpected losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use AppTraction after a change means you accept it.
